At the invitation of Dr. Amna bint Abdullah Al Dahak, Minister of Environment and Climate Change of the United Arab Emirates, Hambardzum Matevosyan Minister of Environment of the RA participated in Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW 2026).
ADSW is an annual global initiative that brings together heads of states, world leaders, senior policymakers, technological innovators, and future leaders in the field of sustainability to discuss sustainable development, as well as economic, social, and environmental progress, by combining political will, innovative solutions, and international cooperation.
Today, the Minister also participated in the official opening ceremony of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2026, marking the start of a week of high-level discussions and collaborative initiatives.
The opening ceremony also featured the launch of the 17th Zayed Sustainability Prize Awards. This leadin global initiative of the UAE recognizes and rewards outstanding contributions to sustainability that promote an inclusive and sustainable world.
ADSW 2026 reaffirms that effective responses to climate challenges can only be achieved through collective efforts, shared vision, and responsibility, in order to ensure a sustainable future for present and future generations.
